PERMITTEE ASSUMES ALL RISK INCIDENT TO BEING PRESENT ON INLAND EMPIRE PAPER COMPANY (IEP) PROPERTY AND WILL HOLD IEP AND COWLES COMPANY, THEIR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS DIRECTORS, AND EMPLOYEES HARMLESS AGAINST ALL CLAIMS DEMANDS, OR CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF USE OF IEP PROPERTY UNDER THIS PERMIT.

DO NOT TRESPASS
This is not a permit to trespass on private land; only to access Inland Empire Paper Company property. Respect property rights - ask permission. To report illegal activity call 1-208-446-3000.

PROPERT IS PATROLLED
Inland Empire Paper Company timberlands are patrolled. Any violation of IEP rules is subject to the revocation of permit without refund and possible prosecution.

RULES AND GUIDELINES
IEP reserves the right to limit access at any time to prevent road damage or protect forestland during extreme fire conditions.
Use only designated areas and specific entry/exit points as listed.
Motorized vehicles are to stay on roadways and are not allowed on any roads gated or posted "Closed".
Observe the 25 mph maximum vehicle speed.
Respect the patrols that monitor all forestland activities.
Show permits to IEP representatives when asked.
No dumping of refuse or other unwanted materials.
No camping is allowed.
No target shooting allowed.
No fires or fireworks are allowed.
Each vehicle is required to carry a shovel, bucket or helmet, and 4-A-B or C fire extinguisher.
Weather conditions can cause road surfaces to become unstable-use caution.
Vandalism to IEP property and logging equipment will not be tolerated and will result in prosecution.
No entry is allowed in active logging areas.
No commercial activities allowed.

ACCESS PERMITS
Access permits are required by anyone entering IEP lands and are for recreational use only.
No commercial activities are allowed.

ALLOWED ACTIVITIES:
Berry/Mushroom picking - For personal use only - NO COMMERCIAL PICKING ALLOWED
Hiking
Mountain Biking
Sightseeing
Horseback Riding - Not allowed on hiking/biking trails
Snowshoe/Cross country skiing

FIREWOOD GATHERING RULES -
These rules are in addition to the general rules listed above
Season: May 15 to October 31 only
Fuel wood is for personal use only. Anyone known to be selling firewood will have their permit suspended and not be allowed to cut firewood on IEP land.
You are allowed five (5) cords of wood perseason.
Only dead trees of any species may be cut.
Wood cutting or entry is not permitted in active logging areas or other posted and/or gated areas.
Permittee is responsible for determining location and property ownership of land from which wood is being cut.
Vehicles must stay on roadways at all times.
No cutting or hauling of wood during wet weather and/or soft road conditions.
Do not block roadway with debris or vehicles.
Debris must be cleared from roadways before leaving site.
Each vehicle is required to carry a shovel, axe, bucket or helmet and 4-A,B or C fire extinguisher.
Chain saw must be equipped with spark arrestor.
Do not park vehicle where exhaust system can come in contact with grass, wood, or other flammable materials.
All state laws regarding forest fires must be obeyed.
Wood cutting may be suspended during high fire hazard conditions.

MOTORIZED VEHICLES RULES - These rules are in addition to the general rules listed above
You must follow all state law requirements.
Vehicles must stay on roadways at all times.
Each vehicle is required to carry a shovel, axe, bucket or helmet and 4-A,B or C fire extinguisher.
Motorcycles, ATV's and UTV'S 50" or less must enter through a designated gate host site.
Stay within the 25 mph maximum speed limit.
Gated or blocked roads are closed to all motorized traffic.
No driving on roads posted "Active Logging", "Closed" or "No Access to lnland Empire Paper Company Timberlands".

HUNTING/FISHING RULES - These rules are in addition to the general rules listed above
You must have a valid State hunting or Fishing license.
You cannot cross private land to access IEP land.
No hunting is allowed in active logging areas.
Gated or blocked roads are closed to motorized traffic and will not be opened for packing game out.
All state hunting and fishing laws apply on IEP land.

CHRISTMAS TREE CUTTING RULES - These rules are in addition to the general rules listed above
Permittee is allowed one tree per permit only.
Trees must be cut below last live whorl of limbs.
Cut no trees over 10 feet tall.
Permittee is solely responsible for determining ownership of land from which tree is being cut.
Keep debris off roadway.
